Garlic Beef Recipe

Delicious Garlic Beef Easy Recipe

Transform an inexpensive cut of beef into a delicious and tender treat.

SERVES: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of  black peppercorns
  • 4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 600g piece of well-trimmed beef skirt

 

Instructions:

  1. Crush the peppercorns and garlic with a pinch of salt in a pestle and mortar until you have a smoothish paste. Then stir in the vinegar.
  2. Put your beef in a non-metallic dish and then rub it all over with the paste you’ve made. Leave in the fridge for a few hours, but no longer!
  3. Now lets cook it. Place a griddle pan over a very hot heat. Gently rub the marinade off the beef and season it with a little more salt. Cook your meat until it’s charred on each side, that’s about 5 mins on each side for rare and if the cut is thick, you may want to roast it in a hot oven for 5 mins after searing.
  4. Place it on a chopping board and let it rest for 5 mins before carving into slices and serving with chips or any other you like.
