Cheese Omelette Recipe

Cheese Omelette Easy Recipe

A delicious omelette recipe which you can easily do at home. Learn how to make a tasty omelette for your breakfast of afternoon lunch.

SERVES: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 large organic egg
  • 1 teaspoon of whole milk or water
  • 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese (you can use any other type of cheese)
  • 1 teaspoon of butter or oil

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the egg and milk in a bowl with a fork until thoroughly it’s combined.
  2. Melt the butter in a 6 or 8 inch omelette pan over medium heat for approximately 30 seconds but making sure it coats all of the bottom of the pan. As soon as the butter stops bubbling, BUT before it starts to brown, slowly pour in the egg and milk mixture. When you pour in the egg mixture try to tilt the pan to spread it evenly.
  3. Let the egg firm up a little and after about ten seconds shake the pan a bit and use a spatula to gently direct the mixture into the middle and away from the sides, allowing the remaining liquid to then flow into the space left at the sides of the pan.
  4. Continue cooking for another minute or so until the egg mixture holds together. Careful to don’t let the underside of the eggs brown.
  5. Sprinkle the top of your omelette with the shredded cheese, and using the spatula gently fold the omelette in a half moon shape.
  6. Continue to cook for another 30 seconds, or until the omelette is thoroughly cooked through.
  7. Let it cool, cut into bite size pieces and serve.
